meet the mulberrians

Bob & Danita Sulick are a local love story. Brought together by the restaurant business back in the ‘80s, they both grew up in big families in Manchester. After raising a family of their own, they decided it was time to tackle a lifelong dream of opening their own restaurant. The road was long and rocky, but the results have been splendid.

Mulberry Street started as a tiny take-out pizza shop on South Main Street, and today it stands in the center of Downtown Manchester, CT as a cozy spot for friends and family to gather.

Today Bob & Dee run the restaurant with the help of their children Colin, Kate, & Molly. If you walk in at the right time, you’ll even catch their grandson Grayson grabbing a cheese pizza and stealing his weekly slice of carrot cake!

We consider our employees and guests family, and we even celebrate Thanksgiving morning together every year at the Manchester Road Race which passes right by our front door. We hope you will enjoy our “Cheers-like” atmosphere, our award-winning pizza, and join our big, crazy family!
